Our donors in Canada are integral to the humanitarian work we do in dozens of countries each year. In some of the most challenging contexts – conflict zones, neighbourhoods destroyed by earthquakes or floods, communities left hungry and parched by drought – Canadians step up to share their resources through the Humanitarian Coalition. Our 12 member organizations operate in 150 countries worldwide. This enables partners and local leaders on the ground to deliver effectively and efficiently the life-saving food, water, hygiene kits, shelter, medical care and protection their communities need in times of crisis.
By working together, our member organizations strive to maximize our humanitarian impact and enable Canadians to give easily and with confidence. And thanks to our partnership with the Government of Canada, our donors can stretch their giving even further. In 2024, we reached 1.5 million people with humanitarian assistance.
