About Global Aid Network:
Global Aid Network is a 4-star charity. It has a A- Results Reporting grade, which is above average. The charity’s overhead spending is within Ci’s reasonable range and its reserve funds can cover program costs for three months, also within Ci’s reasonable range.
Founded in 1998, Global Aid Network (GAiN) is a Christian charity that helps those living in injustice, poverty, and crisis globally. GAiN runs three main programs: Water for Life Initiative, Disaster Relief and Preparedness, Economic Empowerment. It runs Local Church Partnerships to help deliver its programs. GAiN spent $5.6m on its programs in F2024.
The Water for Life Initiative received 65% ($3.6m) of program spending in F2024. It gives people in developing countries access to clean water. The program built 206 water wells for 206,000 people in F2024. The charity trained 18,888 people in hygiene and sanitation.
The Disaster Relief and Preparedness program received 14% ($783k) of program spending in F2024. It provides aid and spiritual support to those in an unexpected crisis. Currently, it is focused on Ukraine Refugee Relief and Myanmar Earthquake Relief. So far, GAiN has sent over 2,873 tonnes of relief goods to over 500,000 people.
The Economic Empowerment program received 7% ($392k) of program spending in F2024. It helps women through loans, vocational training, and other entrepreneurship training. It has provided loans to 7,804 women and trained 3,150 women in financial literacy.
Local Church Partnerships received 14% ($783k) of program spending in F2024. The charity constructed 12 new church buildings and planted 67 churches.
